Unlock the lock lever by pushing the tab counterclockwise. Do not attempt to adjust the meter with the lock lever on.

Adjust the setting on the meter by turning the plunger knob clockwise to decrease or counterclockwise to increase.

Lock the lever by pushing the tab clockwise when the desired volume has been set. Now the volume cannot be changed.
