Restriction Endonucleases -- Question 1


You are interested in using the plasmid  pWEE as a vector for incorporating foreign DNA into  E. coli where it can be cloned. The following plasmid map shows the locations of the restriction sites of four different restriction endonucleases, as well as the ORI and a kanamycin-resistance gene (kanr ). The recognition sequences of the four enzymes are shown to the right. Arrows show where the phosphodiester bonds are broken.
